8But you, Yisrael, My servant, Yaakov, whom I have chosen, the seed of Avraham who loved Me;

9you whom I took hold of from the ends of the earth, and called from its nobles, and said to you, “You are My servant; I have chosen you and have not rejected you”:

10Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your G-d. I have strengthened you, I have also helped you, I have also upheld you with My right hand of righteousness.

11Behold, all who are incensed against you will be ashamed and disgraced; the men who strive with you will be as nothing, and will perish.

12You will seek them and will not find them, the men who quarrel with you; the men who war against you will be as nothing and as naught.

13For I am Hashem your G-d, who holds your right hand, who says to you, “Do not fear; I have helped you.”

14Do not fear, worm of Yaakov, men of Yisrael; I have helped you, says Hashem, and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Yisrael.1

15Behold, I have made you a threshing sledge, sharp, new, with many edges; you will thresh mountains and crush them, and make hills like chaff.

16You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them off, and the storm will scatter them; and you will rejoice in Hashem, you will glory in the Holy One of Yisrael.
