One must have kavanah in Tehillah LeDavid, and most of all in the pasuk “You open Your hand,” which praises HaKadosh Baruch Hu, who watches over His creatures and provides for them

And one must have kavanah in Tehillah LeDavid, for Rabbi Elazar said: Whoever says Tehillah LeDavid three times every day is assured that he is a son of the World to Come (Berachos 4b). And he should have kavanah even more in the pasuk “You open Your hand” (Tehillim 145:16), for the main reason they established saying it every day is for the sake of that pasuk, in which one mentions the praise of HaKadosh Baruch Hu, that He watches over His creatures and provides for them.
