In the name of Rabbi Leib, Av Beis Din of Prague: every person should say pesukim of bitachon, to accustom himself to bitachon and emunah; the earlier generations had a tradition that they annul harsh decrees, and they were said in battle and are said before business
It is found written in the name of the Gaon, the Chassid, outstanding in his generation, our master Rabbi Leib, Av Beis Din of the holy community of Prague, of blessed memory, that every person should say pesukim of bitachon, in order to accustom himself, with the help of Hashem, to the middah of bitachon and emunah: this is the essence of the faith of Yisrael. And all the more so now, when emunah has been badly shaken among many people, and one must strengthen himself greatly in this. And after saying the pesukim he should ask of Hashem that He grant him the middah of emunah and bitachon, as is His will, etc.; see there. And this Gaon wrote there that they have a tradition from the earlier generations, of blessed memory, that these pesukim are a segulah to annul all harsh decrees; and it was tested and proven for them, for they would say these pesukim in many battles, and put their trust firmly in HaKadosh Baruch Hu, and they were saved. So they are a very great segulah. And these pesukim are also a segulah for men of business, to say them on the roads, and also at home, before their dealings.
