Mishlei 16:20

One who looks over his possessions every day will find good; and if he trusts in Hashem and not in his hishtadlus, he is fortunate

Or it may say: “One who considers, etc.”: the matter of Mar Shmuel’s istira (Chullin 105a). For one who looks over and searches through his possessions every day gains an istira [a coin], since he repairs what is going bad, and the like. And this is “One who considers a matter wisely will find good.” And if, while doing so, he trusts in Hashem and not in his hishtadlus and his repairs, “he is fortunate.” For although it is good to look over his possessions, he should not make it the main thing; [the main thing is] only from HaKadosh Baruch Hu: He will command the blessing (Devarim 28:8), for “from Him is the cornerstone, from Him the peg” (Zecharyah 10:4); his possessions will not be shaken.
